Aaron Ramsey is good enough to join Barcelona as a replacement for legendary midfielder Xavi, believes Perry Groves.

The former Spain star,35,will end his career-long association with the Catalan club at the end of the current campaign when he moves to Qatari side All sadd.
Luiz Enrique has reportedly had wales star Ramsey scouted ten times as they consider a £50 million bid, should they find a way to circumnavigate their transfer bid.
And former Gunners star groves insists the 24 year old does have the ability to join and fill the space left by the Nou camp hero.
He told talksport:"Aaron Ramsey has the passing range and the technical abilities, and more importantly you have to have mental strength to play for Barcelona because of the pressure you are under.
"If you remember when Suarez was going there, everyone was saying where does he fit in? If you are a good player still you'll adapt to the way the manager wants you to play and you will force the manager to put you into the team".
"If you've got Sergio Busquests,Andres Iniesta and Ivan rakitic ,they are good technical players but they don't have the running capabilities of Ramsey.Barcelona are looking for something different and he will give them that"
"He'll give them something different because his game is based on his running power and get up front to support oliver Giroud or getting beyond him"

'Sterling wouldn't stay at Liverpool for #1 per week'-agent.

Raheem Sterling's agent says the Liverpool forward will 'definitely' not sign a new deal at Anfield and expects every Premier League giant to bid for the 20-year-old.

The England international, whose contract expires in 2017, has been at the centre of a transfer saga in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City - as well as Manchester United - heavily linked with the forward.Sterling's representative, Aidy Ward, previously played down reports that Sterling was set to seek an exit from the club but he has now gone public, insisting that no amount of money could persuade his client - who previously turned down an offer of £100,000-a-week (€140,000) - to commit to a new contract at Anfield.

In quotes obtained by the Evening Standard, Ward said: “I don’t care about the PR of the club and the club situation. I don’t care.

“He is definitely not signing. He’s not signing for £700, £800, £900 thousand a week (€1.26m). He is not signing.

“My job is to make sure I do the best with them (my clients). If people say I am bad at my job, or they are badly advised it does not matter.”

Ward maintains he is relaxed about the situation and expects a flurry of bids for his client, whilst also appearing to aim a thinly-veiled jibe at Liverpool over the current furore surrounding Sterling's future.

He added: "How did all this occur? There is no smoke without fire.

“I am not worried. Worried is making a decision not knowing what is going to happen. Every Premier League club will make a bid for him.”

Man United make their first move for Raheeem Sterlin, but Liverpool tell rivals they will not sell their wantaway star.

Manchester United have made a sensational enquiry about the prospect of signing Raheem Sterling.
No player has moved directly between the most bitter rivals in English football since Phil Chisnall moved from Old Trafford to Anfield in 1964 but United have explored the prospect of exploiting Sterling's contract stand-off.
Liverpool flatly told United they have no interest in doing business for the England international, who has turned down the offer of a new contract and has told Brendan Rodgers that he wants to leave the club this summer.
Sterling, who was heckled at Liverpool's end of season awards on Tuesday night, has two years remaining on his current contract and Liverpool have made it clear they do not want to sell him in the coming window.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have all been plotting moves to varying degrees for Sterling but United's emergence shows how vulnerable Liverpool have become and it is unlikely to be the last offer they receive.
Brendan Rodgers vowed recently that Liverpool are determined to make a stand and retain the 20-year-old yet it is going to become increasingly complicated, particularly if Sterling becomes disillusioned.
